work.

first dilemma:
mak slalu ckp.. masa mak jadi pengetua dulu, mak bukan wujudkan terus satu gap. tp we should have a transparent gap between ketua and anak buah. kena pandai layan anak buah.. supaya tidak dipijak. supaya arahan kita di ambil serious. supaya anak buah follow instruction.
and do their job within the dateline given. bukan dibuat acuh tak acuh. instruction tak ikut..
macam mak pun.. bila kat sekolah tu tak disukai. pastu bila kena tukar sekolah ke, pencen.. barulah macam.. "cikgu.. masa zaman cikgu dulu kami itu ini" ".. rindu cikgu itu ini.."
i've been working in an environment that i wish to run away from for the past 4 years.(ok dats make me wanna leave right b4 i started working. whatt?? so smemangnye ko mmg xnk kje kn patin kn?)
a perfect working environment to me is when..sme orang tahu wut project every staff are working on..be considerate on other staff punya workload.. work as a team. not selfish. 
sharing knowledge not criticizing. encouraging not blaming or condemning. everybdy should not be sarcastic towards each other.. 
instructing them become macam "ish"..you mesti ada rasa nak jadi "likeable". ada favourite staff.. ade kesian. ade hina. ada tak suka.. and semua tu reflect in our everyday communication and our leadership skill. sebab tu byk good leader, bukannya selalu yang disukai. same la yg leader x mcm leader pun. ada byk example yang have a very good leader with excellent leadership skill.
tapi... *ehemehem* paham2 sendiri la.
masa meeting.. berkobar2. sent la minutes of meeting.. and then..semua pun taknak ikut. and things don't go as planned. lalallala~ 
dan klo dulu i agree masa pengarah suruh jadi boss.. harusla department ni jadi lagi super huruhara,
sebab semua orang tak suka dgr apa yang i ckp. hehe. and i ni mmg lack of knowledge. senang cita..tak berapa cerdik :). ajaq semua pun ajaran sesat. bila becakap.. semua tak boleh pakai. tak boleh harap.. dat is why. :)
ps: my experience as assistant manager kat MMU's exam unit is the best. because i have my own staff where i can direct them to do things whichever way i wanted things to be. even to susun file.
BWAHAHA.

second dilemma:
contract staff
my contract will be ended by end of January. shocking ke, still on contract for almost 5 years.
not that i tak mau tukar kerja. but i feel safe here..im in my comfort zone. despite all of dilemma.. i just bertahan.. ada kuarters. ada job. tak nganga saja. 
i feel ok.
sampai interview kastam haritu pun.. i rsa i can do well if i wanted to, tapi tak study ape pun.. i just study.. before nk masuk bilik interview.
and the same comment yg i slalu dpt mase interview.. "awak ni boleh bercakap.."
tp.. yg utk kastam.. die ckp i kurang knowledge pasal kastam. of course. who wouldn't expect dat kan?
lagipun my fear nak kerja kastam tu sgt la membuak2 hehe. ok back to the topic.
UM management sekarang mmg sgt sgt sgt concern dengan LAMBAKAN staf kontrak.
yup. lambakan. more like bebanan.
mmg patutpun. gov da cut peruntukan utk UM kn.
but if they really look closely to this issues.. staf2 kontrak yang baru ni la yang bersemangat buat kerja mereka. trying to overcome any upcoming issues, jarang sgt kita dgr drpd deprtment kami (for example) this can't be done.. dat can't be done..without trying.
maaf utk existing staff.. bukan nak burukkan awak.. but a very small amount of you.. yang i mmg tau.. do site job during office hour.
yang despatch .. ambil peluang hantar surat  untuk outside company.
yg ada outside business..pernah pk sal berkatnya rezeki tak? 
and ada few more.. yang i didnt wish to mention. tambahan pula dengan kronism nya..
adik abang kakak. sepupu mak sedara. kakak sedara sepupu. suami isteri.
mana tak nya..UM yg encourage kot. even masa apply pun ada ruang yang tnya. "ada sedara yang kerja di UM atau tidak?"
..mana satu yang lambakan sekarang? kalau you said you can train existing staff and replace whatever we are doing now.. go ahead.
for recording.. yes. maybe. you kata ada existing staff yang sgt commited dgn kerja mereka kn? :)
bagaimana dengan skill? video editing skill. you kata semua org boleh edit video?
ok. macam mana dgn learning video?
yang memerlukan your interpersonal skill. knowledge. kemahiran berfikir. instructional design skill.
agakagak boleh ke yang jaga camera skarang pergi dan edit learning video?
wedding video budak skola pun da pandai.
another example: flash animation skill. animator skill you ingat something yang boleh diajar ke? that skill is in you. kalau u tau mcm mne nak animate pun.. u igt u blh come out dgn good animation?
it based on how creative you are. depends on betapa bersusah payah.. bersungguh2 u nak siapkan sesuatu job. then tgkla hasilnya macam mana. dan bukan senang nak cari orang yang betulbetul nak hasilkan sesuatu yang cantik. kebanyakannya sekadar "asalsiap"
i sebenarnya.. tak byk complain sgt to make. semua tu tetap REZEKI Allah.
tetapi.. i wish i can change their mind set towards us. selalu anggap bahawa kami, contract staff lebih sebagai bebanan.
pernah tak terpikir apakah sumbangan (walaupun kecil) yang telah kami buat untuk UM.
UM oh UM.


ps: saya mahu balik dan kerja di kedah dah. ataupun.. impian saya agar sang suami kerja di offshore dan saya tak payah bekerja lagi. kehkehkeh.
